Tour Itinerary
Day 1 : Madurai (sightseeing) To Kodaikanal
On arrival at Madurai airport OR railway station, meet our representative outside the Airport/Railway
Station would receive you and transfer to Kodaikanal later in the day, embark on a local sightseeing tour of Madurai covering places such as Sri Meenakshi Sundareshwara Temple, art museum, Puthu Mandapam, and Raya Gopuram etc. After sightseeing upon arrival at Kodaikanal, transfer to the hotel and enjoy the evening at leisure. Have a comfortable overnight stay.
Day 2 : Kodaikanal
After breakfast, enjoy a local sightseeing tour of Kodaikanal visiting the Pillar Rocks, Coaker’s walk and the
magnificent Bear Shola waterfalls. In the afternoon, spend some time in Bryant Park and enjoy boating on
the beautiful Kodai Lake (on direct payment basis). Overnight stay at hotel
Day 3 : Kodaikanal To Munnar 4 h 40 min (162.7 km)
After a tasty breakfast, proceed to Munnar. It is adorned with verdant tea gardens and rolling hills that attract tourist from all over the nation. Upon arrival, check into the resort and later in the evening visit Tea Museum. Learn about the various stages of extracting tea from its raw form to final form. Later, you can spend some one-on-one time with Mother Nature here. An overnight stay will be arranged at the hotel in Munnar.
Day 4 : Munnar
After Breakfast at Hotel, you will proceed for full day sightseeing across Munnar. you can visit the
sightseeing like Echo Point,Kundala Lake, Kundala Dam,Indo Swiss Livestock Project, Mattupetty Lake &
Mattupetty Dam, Munnar BoatingMunnar Tea gardens, Munnar Tea museum & Tea factory, Blossom Park,
Pothamedu View Point, Hydel Park,Photo Shooting Points, Rajamalai Eravikulam National Park, Anamudi
peak,Tea Powder Shopping, Munnar Elephant Ride, (on direct pay basis). In the evening back to the hotel
and have a comfortable overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5 : Munnar - Thekkady (100 km | 3 kms)
After a breakfast, leave the hotel and drive to Thekkady. On arrival, check-in at the hotel and relax for a
while. Thekkady is synonymous to uninterrupted hills, rich biodiversity, Periyar Lake & wild life
Sanctuary,Chellarkovil,Murikkady, Pandikuzhy and spice plantations. The place is best known for the Periyar
National Park, which is much-famed as the habitat of the endangered tigers. In the afternoon, you can
explore the spice plantation (surcharge) sprawling across Periyar forests. In the evening back to hotel and
overnight stay.
Day 6 : Thekkady - Allepay (140 km - 4 Hrs)
Early Morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and proceed to Alleppey , where you will be booked to
stay overnight on the Houseboat. Staying in Houseboat is breathtakingly stimulating experience. While
sailing down a maze of canals one sees different scenes from the villages, paddy fields, coconut palms,
fisherman and local life. Lunch, evening tea & snacks, dinner next day breakfast and will be provided in the
boat. The cool breeze from the Lake make you sleep early in the night after anchoring in a fancy place.
Overnight stay at the Houseboat.
Day 7 : Allepey – Cochin and departure (55 km – 2 Hrs)
In the morning after breakfast check out from the hotel and transfer to the Cochin arrival and check into the hotel and proceed to cover local sightseeing around Cochin. It is rightly called the “Queen of Arabian Sea,” is one of the most acclaimed natural harbors in the World. It was a major commercial center for trading with the British, Chinese, Portuguese, Dutch, etc. Places for sightseeing include the beautiful Dutch Palace, Jewish Street, St. Francis Church, Jewish Synagogue and Chinese Fishing Nets, in the evening get transfer to cochin airport for your onward destination.
